Michal Berman

Mic has over eighteen years broad-based experience working with technology focused companies and has held senior marketing, business development, product or general management roles at Mozilla, Yahoo, CGI, itemus, in her own companies – B-Innovative and Embarkonit – and spent her earlier career at McKinsey & Company. Mic’s efforts have generated significant value for the companies and clients she’s worked for. Mic actively advises FreshBooks on its strategic and operations initiatives. When she’s not doing that – or working with the handful of other start-ups in her roster – she instigates StartupCamps (working her way across Canada).
In Embarkonit , Mic is currently focused on enabling executive teams to exceed their goals by getting their team’s aligned and focused on results to ensure a sustained performance improvement. Using a variety of proven simple tools that leverage existing processes, clients say their teams become re-energized in the process, their tool kits are improved and managers are able to gain greater productivity out of existing resources.
