What is meshU?
meshU is a one-day event of 12 focused workshops in three streams (design, development, management) given by those who have earned their stripes in the startup game; people who can talk knowledgeably about everything from interface design to using Amazon’s S3 distributed server network. We hope this addition to mesh will meet a growing need in Toronto: the need for practical, down-to-earth information about tools, knowledge and expertise for startups, web designers and developers of all kinds.

When and where is it?
meshU is scheduled for Tuesday May 20th, 2008, the day before mesh, and will be taking place at the MaRS Collaboration Centre in downtown Toronto.
Who is meshU for?
You know who you are. You live and breathe technology - what it can do and what it can mean in people's lives. Every new tool, new approach and new technology? You're there first. As a developer, you were using AJAX when most people thought it was only a cleaning product. As a project manager, you were deploying agile development across your team before the term even existed. As a designer, your passion for designing great user experience is so profound it hurts. And when others catch up, you've already moved on. Pushing, innovating, leading. It's what you do.
Where does meshU come in?
As good as you are, you know you could be even better, if only you could spend time learning with other folks like you. Imagine spending a day meeting other folks like yourself and maybe even some of the real stars of this space, in small groups, really doing things and learning together. Just totally geeking out.
Sound like fun? Yes? Well meshU is that event.

Developers, project managers, designers, usability engineers, hands-on technology business leaders, early-stage entrepreneurs and technical leaders of all stripes.
Who will I be hanging out with?
meshU is going to give you the opportunity to hang out with other folks who are *doing* it - people who will educate, inspire and energize you with their shared passion for pushing the boundaries of the web today, and taking it where it's going to be tomorrow. The event will be small so everyone will be accessible.
