Leigh is a Sr. marketing executive who considers herself a creative strategist. Her expertise combines the worlds of marketing, customer insights and emerging technologies. With an entrepreneurial spirit that challenges the status quo, she has advised many of the largest corporations in the world on how reinvent their businesses and brands within the evolving digital market place. Playing at the intersection of business, culture and communications, she goes beyond the obvious to delve deeper into the seismic shifts that are impacting society and applies that on a practical level in order to operationalize brands and drive results.
Leigh has over 15 yrs experience that include her role as the Director of Client Services at MacLaren McCann Interactive, VP of Strategy and Innovation at Blast Radius, her own consultancy ME Marketing, and more recently she was the Managing Director of Twist Image in Toronto.
Her clients have included Dell US, Cox Cable, EA, Citi Bank, Rogers Communications, BMW, TELUS, Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Nestle, Fuji Film, McNeil Consumer Healthcare, Glaxo Smith Kline, Pfizer, Microsoft, Xbox, TD Bank and General Motors of Canada.
Leigh holds a degree in Environmental Resource Management from the University of Toronto and worked as an environmental planner in Europe prior to her career in Marketing. With her belief that networks are similar to ecosystems and technology has now become biology, her background has provided an important backdrop to how she thinks about
networked communications.
