Clare Brett

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum Teaching and Learning at OISE/UT. My research interests lie in the areas of teaching and learning in online and distance contexts, the social and cultural implications of technology use and the affordances of online environments for learning. Other research interests include cognitive perspectives on reading and writing development. I am a member of the Knowledge Media Design Institute (KMDI) and the Institute for Knowledge Innovation and Technology (IKIT).  I teach graduate courses in computer-mediated communications, theories of learning and Teacher Education courses in Educational Psychology. I am also involved in developing technology infusion strategies for Teacher Education instructors.
