80-20 rule 80% good. 20% total wankers. Tara chick added zero value and putting the backchannel up on the screen in the last session shows how A.D.D. bloggers can be. "Retarded ideas" are the new "hip"

I had a fantastic time and would like to thank all the organizers and those that worked behind the scenes to pull this off. Hope to see Mesh come around again next year.

Congrats. It was a great event. The session had the right mix of what this stuff is, why you should care and how you should do it. There truly was something for everyone, including cool t-shirts and purses for everyone. :)

I agree, Tara's presentation simply was not up to par with the other presentations of the day. The pencil and card exercise was ill-conceived for an audience of that size and the intended break-out discussions between audience members seemed like an easy time-killer to run-out the clock. Pawning-off a rightly critical audience question to her boyfriend reeked of unprofessionalism. Not a well planned or executed presentation.

Many thanks to all of the organizers and contributors. I met some great people, and can't wait to see further development on some of the great ideas and products we talked about.

All in all, a great conference. Of course I wanted to be on the Corporate blogging panel, so I was a little frustrated hearing Tara say "she didn't believe in corporate blogging". I'm a little tired of the whole "blogging is about taking on the man!" rhetoric.

Sign me up for the next one!

Thank you for a fantastic conference!

We (David and I) really enjoyed ourselves and thought it was the best conference we've ever been to.

If you need any panelists for next year, we'd love to be invited :) The organizers of mesh and the staff at MaRS were absolutely tops and very helpful. We made it back to London last night and wished we could have gone to the after party to keep meshing with everyone and make more contacts. Hope it was good.

Keep in touch everyone!

Cheers,

Stephanie Ciccarelli

(remember, we're soon to be voices.com!)

Great conference. Loved Michael Geist. Enjoyed the blogging, wiki, and podcasting workshops. Welcomed the contrast between Steve Rubel and Tara Hunt (great presenter!). Found "Creating a Viable Web Business" useful. The Drake and the networking were fun.
Picayune Details:
The signage could have been clearer; it took me a while to find the upstairs rooms.
Love the t-shirt!

What a great two days. Lively, informative and full of ideas. Unfortunately I missed a couple of the panels, but all in all I enjoyed the ones I made it to.

Ditto looking forward to the next one... and if you need any rogue traditional marketers next time give a holler! Hope to see you at a BarCampTdot soon.

Here's to keeping the momentum going and the ideas flowing!

Tamera
