Andrew Coyne is National Editor of Maclean’s magazine. Raised in Winnipeg, Mr. Coyne is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the London School of Economics‎. He has been an editorial writer and columnist for The National Post, The Globe and Mail, and the Southam newspaper chain, contributing as well to a wide range of other publications in Canada and abroad, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, National Review, Time, and Saturday Night. A frequent commentator on television and radio, he is seen regularly on CBC’s The National. He is the winner of two National Newspaper Awards and the Hyman Solomon Award for Excellence in Public Policy Journalism, and is a fellow of the School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto.
